Sure Signal / Orange Livebox...Not Connecting

Hi,

I can't get my Sure signal  (serial no.40120929738) to work.

Due to my local Vodafone mast being down since the 29th of April (18 days and counting without mobile) and having no signal.  I requested and was sent a suresignal box

I've have a solid power light at the moment.  Everytime I reboot, I get flashing symbols for 10 mins then it reverts to the solid power light.

I've followed all the troubleshooting points.

UPnP is enabled

DHCP is enabled

Ethernet connection is OK

The box is registered.

I'm using a Thomson Livebox from Orange.

Please help.

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Hi Danny72

Thank you for your post and it is great to see you here.:smileyhappy:

I have checked your serial number and it does appear that you connected successfully to your device last night, please can you confirm you are still experiencing difficulties.

I’d like to help to resolve this VSS (Vodafone Sure Signal) issue for you, but to do this I will need to take some further information from you.

Can you post the following results to this thread?

 Speedtest.

Pingtest

Traceroute.

  • On a PC / Laptop :
  • Click on Start  and select Run
  • Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
  • A black box will appear.
  • In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177    press Enter
  • Paste the output of this command into your reply.

Many Thanks
