Hi gibbo456,

Thanks for your post.

The traceroute looks fine but we’ll need your Sure signal serial number to look into this for you.

On a side note, you may be affected by this.

James

James,

Thanks. The serial number is 40131012540.

Intresetingly I now have solid red and two solid whites - as I should have - but none of the phones in the house can connect to the sure signal. Tried resetting etc but to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Ian

Hi gibbo456,

I can see from the system here that your Sure Signal connected at 02:13 this morning. Are you now able to use the phones? The Sure Signal may simply have taken a little time to sort itself out.

If not, let us know and we'll try a resync.

Dave

Dave,

Unfortunately none of us can use our phones. Please can you perform a re-sync to see if that clears the problem,

Ian

Hi gibbo456,

I’ve just resynced your Sure Signal for you.

To make sure it completes, can you do a factory reset for me:-

  • Find the button on the base of the unit next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around one hour

Let me know how you go on.

Thanks,

Andrew

Tried the above but to no avail.

The sure signal does not re-boot by holding the button in for 30 seconds - it just stays with the power light on and two white lights as if it's connected ok.

Really need this to be working as we have no signal where I live - hence the need for the sure signal.

Can you advise further asap please?

Ian

I'll add that I factory re-set by holding button in, turning power on and off and then releasing button - this was advised a while ago by someone over the phone.
