squib

In common with many in this fourm my sure signal lost connection roughly a month ago after several years of more or less uninterupted service.

I have tried resetting as suggested in the troubleshooting guide to no avail.

Its serial no is 21197179951

Hope you can help.

Hi squib,

Your IP address is fine.

The Sure Signal last connected to our servers in the early hours of this morning.

In the first instance, I'd try a different Ethernet cable into the Sure Signal.

If you could let us have the light sequence you see, that would be helpful.

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your reply.

I have connected a new Ethernet cable between my router and sure signal box as you have advised. So far without success.

The sequence of the lights flashing are:- Top light solid on all the time, The second light down flashes for roughly a couple of minutes then the fourth light down starts flashing and the second light down goes solid on. After a minute or so of the fourth light flashing it goes back to the beginning of this sequence.

Cheers.

Hi,

Do you know what this light sequence signifies?

Cheers,

John

Hi squib,

Can you please ensure that the IPSEC setting has been selected with your router?

If you’re unsure on how to do this, please contact your internet service provider.

Cheers,

Laura

Hi,

I have enabled IPSEC-IKE in port forwarding. No Change.

I have tried DMZ the Devices IP address as suggested elsewhere on this forum. No Change.

Do you have any further ideas?

Cheers,

John

Hi,

It's still not working.

Can you help?

Regards,

John
