Sure Signal V2 power light flashes

My sure signal v2 has just stopped working and has not worked all day now. It has changed status from the power light to be continually on to flashing constantly. The phone light only flashes after restarting and doesn't appear again. I have followed the trouble shooting guide and reset many times, changed power sockets and restarted my router. My broadband is connecting fine.

Hi Bryony,

Thanks for posting your details. :Smiling:

For Sure Signal to work effectively, we recommend a download speed of 4.13Mbps. As your speeds are quite low, I'd recommend speaking to your ISP about your options.

Thanks,

Ben

Im having a simialr issue, except when the vss2 does stabilize it locks up all the phones connected to it unless we switch to 2g/gprs/edge, sometimes the vss will just flash for hours, other times it will have just the 1 light to tell you its in sync with the server, its not my hub5 as its been working flawless for ages, im on fibre so have plenty of speed, tracert shows im connected, hers my serial and the tracert. At the moment im waiting for the vss to sync up again after another reset, it looks like the box has had its day.

Just to let you know its still flashing 2 lights, wondering if a resync at your end will do anything.

Hi boe32,

Please try the Sure Signal in a different location (neighbours, family members or friends) this will help rule out any hardware fault.

Thanks,

Matt B

Are you working on anything? or have been for the last 3 or 4 days?, it doesnt make any sense. Ive deregistered  and registered it, reset the vss2, currently its been flashing 2 lights for a few hours but is still downloading something, i have no where else to try the vss, dont get on with the neighbours lol. Did you resync at your end?, ive even reflashed firmware for all of the android phones that are connected just incase it was that, but im yet to sync/stabilize.

Current tracert to show its still connewcting to your server

Well the single light is on, and its locked up all the phones connections, going to switch it off untill you reply that youve triggered a resync, its damaging our phones, the phones radios wont go to 2g either after long periods of being locked up.

Still no go, when will you resync it at your end?

Well blow me, its working again, should of known you guys caused the problem again. Please done resync if you havent doen already, its working.
