Have had Sure Signal for just under 2 years. Recently stopped working. No lights displayed including power light. Tried different sockets etc and followed trouble shooting guide with no success.

How do I return this unit under warranty ?

Hi,

Please Note : If the Sure Signal displays ANY signs of internal failure / no lights then unplug it straightaway and contact Vodafone Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat.

The SS has a 2 Year Manufacturing Warranty.

@MTK I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch.

My SS3, has just stopped working. It occasionally seemed hot when operating, but not all the time. Unfortunately, it is completely dead now. How can I exchange it for a functional replacement?

@whiterose

Unplug it please and contact customer service on 191 or Live Chat.

It's covered by a 24 month manufacturing warranty but Vodafone have apparently also exchanged SS V3's out of the warranty period.

Thanks, @BandOfBrothers, although the 191 operator told me that the only solution is to go out and buy another (my SS3 is out of warranty) ... apparently they are now under £70 so I should be happy that it is £30 less than I paid!

If you know how other out of warranty people succeeded in getting a free replacement, I will happily take the advice. Many thanks.

You're Welcome.

I think its right to point out that some owners have had their SS v3 replaced even if out of the initial 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty.

Point out this is an accepted issue by Vodafone and be polite and firm in asking for a replacement.

If you perform a search on the forum you'll come across relevant threads.

Go to my thread at the link above and add your comment at the end suggesting yours has failed (regardless of warranty status).

It appears Vodafone are not responding to this thread and actively monitoring the one above due to publicity it's causing, so head over there and add your details.

IT WILL BE REPLACED BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON MY THREAD..

Read page one first then skip to the end to add your complaint, don't be fobbed off and keep trying until you get your replacement.

Vodafone will contact you once you have added your comment (they always do) and arrange a replacement.

If you've already purchased, you can claim a refund.
