Sure Signal V3 Not connecting

Hi

I have a new Sure Signal V3 that was replaced by Vodafone as my old V2 that I had had working for a number of years had stopped working!  However, I cannot get it to connect.

The lights that are on are Flashing Power Light, Solid System Light and Solid User Light.

Have de-registered and re-registered.  Done re-sets and had our computer guy in to check that everything working fine this end.

I have read that this could be something to do with the IP whitelist.  My IP address is: 62.172.166.193

Please tell me this is someting simple as I am without any form of phone connection without this working :0(

Hi @pip2508

Make sure that the Smart set up on the router has been turned off.

Ensure that the port forwarding is correct in your router settings:

Ports and Protocols:

  • 8 – TCP/UDP                 (All routers)
  • 50 – TCP/UDP               (All routers)
  • 53 – TCP/UDP               (Virgin Super Hubs)
  • 67 – UDP                      (Virgin Super Hubs)
  • 68 – UDP                      (Virgin Super Hubs)
  • 123 – UDP                    (All routers)
  • 500 – UDP                    (All routers)
  • 1723 – TCP/UDP           (BT Home Hubs)
  • 4500 – UDP                   (All routers)
  • 33434 – 33445 – UDP    (Virgin Super Hubs)

If you’re unsure on how to do this, please contact your internet service provider.

Cheers,
