Sure Signal stopped working last week.  Worked fine since February.

I'm on Virgin 50 down 3.5 up.  Phones work outside house.  Although your signal around my home area is an absolute joke.

Tries reboots, cables, locations, still no luck.

Can someone advise what to do next, as I am in contract until March next year I can't chuck it and the vodfone sim in the bin straight away.

Started seeing this in the last few days with Virgin Media after the sure signal worked perfectly for months with no changes to the network.

May need to check Vodafone or Virgin have put there clocks back because something is definetely out of sync in the last week and there are a lot of Virgin users with the same issues.

Anyway usual diags if they help

Let me know if theres anything I can try or if this is just going to be a back and force with yourselves and virgin where the customer gets let down as usual.

Hi

I am on Virgin Media as well. My Sure Signal has been working fine since July and now it has stopped working. Have made several calls to Technical Support, following troubleshooting advice. Each time I have been told it should work in a few hours and still get the same results.

Hi everyone,

For those with Virgin Media as your ISP (Internet Service Provider), please contact them for further help and information regarding this.

Hi Sarah,

Is there anything in particular we should be saying when we speak to them?  i.e. Are they blocking ports at their end?

Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.

Thanks, Ian.

Sure Signal has been working for months since first use, just stopped working today, with the orange lights for internet and in use, and in service being off.

Have followed the troubleshooting guide, no luck

My sure signal has been working fine and now suddenly has stopped working. Its red power light is flashing and two orange lights are constant. As far as im aware nothing has changed so im puzzled why it has stopped working now. Ive tried resetting it and been through this forum and searching on google to find a solution with no success. I have port forwarded as directed in another post and assigned a manual IP address i think!

Lights;

  • Power: Flashing
  • Internet: Solid Orange
  • In Service: Off
  • In Use: Solid Orange

Can anyone help please? Info below as requested.

Thanks, Pete

@peterduke9

I can see your Sure Signal connected with our servers today.

We've sent a software update to the box which can take up to 24 hours to complete. Please don't re-set the Sure Signal during this time.

After that time, restart your phone and everything should be back to normal.

Thanks Ashley. I look forward to it working as normal again.
