Sure Signal V3 not working even after resetting

Power - flashing, Internet - solid orange, In Service - off, In Use - solid orange reset done and router checked please help.

There is a post from the admin advising of an ongoing  problem with sure signal, so there is no point in trying to troubleshoot the issue, it is not from our end.

+1 for what it's worth, down since the the 5th Nov with same issues as everyone else.  

 

VM superhub in modem only mode, necessary ports enabled on my router as a precaution (even though never needed before)

Seems like multiple threads have been merged...

 

Anyone on Twitter suggest it is time to escalate this issue, I believe there will be many more users like us trying to find a solution not within our control.

 

poor show - 5 months to go & I'm off - not a threat, just tired poor/no signal in area pockets, the biggest being my house!

 

likewise - I'm current having to use a personal phone to expense calls the US, rather than my vodafone company phone. Employer not happy!

Another virgin media customers whose vodafone sure signal stopped working over a week ago for no obvious reason.  The sure signal box was difficult to set up in the first place on virgin media.  One of these 2 companies must have changed their settings to cause this problem; I think it must be virgin media as our sure signal box on bt in london is still working fine.

At work, so can't do the traceroute, but thought I'd chime in as I'm on Virgin and am not having any issues

VSS V3 running perfectly well, no outage for me

Power – Solid red
Internet – Solid white
In Service – Solid white
In Use – Off when I left, but was solid white when I was on a call

Spoke to a VF Service person tonight.

He said that VF have escalated this issue to a tech team who are working with VM to resolve.

Same message that it's VM's fault, with no explanation as to why.

 

I'd like to point out that this problem is (almost certainly) not hardware (eg superhub) dependent. I have exactly the same issues on Virgin Media's 20Mb Business service, which uses their cable modem. I had no problems with Sure Signal for 2 years until these recent issues. 

I'm also on Virgin Media. 

Superhub is modem mode and I had no problems until 5 November, which was around the time I had some broadband outages as Virgin upgraded their network.
