Sure Signal V3 - only worked for 3 hours

Hi,

 

I have had problems with my sure signal v2 since the end of December. I have tried everything from resets, port forwarding, you have tried to reset it for me and the best I managed was to get it to work for a few hours. Therefore after 4 weeks of it not working, I decided to spend £100 on a new version 3 (assuming it must be my device).

 

Therefore last night (5th Feb) I registered my new Sure signal v3  Serial no 42150263566 and was delighted that within an hour all 3 phones registered started working...... but 3 hours later it stop working again (have I wasted my money??).

I have BT infinity with a home hub 5.

My Sure signal has the first 3 lights lit up solid on the device.

My IP address is 86.130.254.0

 

As I work from home this is causing me a nightmare. Please help as Ive almost given up now?

Hi @smithrc 

 

I can see the last contact date was 05 February at 20:22.

 

Please ensure that the BT Smart Setup is switched off.

 

You can turn it off by logging into the router.

 

BT can offer support  if you’re unsure on how to do this.
