Hi
I have a new iPhone 5S but it only gets 3 (sometimes 2) bars of signal strength. My old iPhone 4 used to get 5.
In fact I'm not even sure the SS box is making any difference as I get the same number of bars if I turn Wi-Fi off.
Anyone know why this is and what I can do.
Sure signal box has the solid red light and the white left hand button (not the one that normally lights up when making a call).
In fact I've just noticed the other light now doesnt light up when making a call - which I'm guessing is the probelsm.
How do I resolve it???

Hi Ndmaynard,
I can see from your traceroute that it fails at step 2, this indicates that something isn't quite right at the setup.
Please try with a different Ethernet cable in case a fault has developed.
Also when changing SIMs (often after an upgrade), you'll need to remove the number from the Sure Signal, reset it and add the number back on so the new SIM is recognised.
If you're still having difficulties, please let us know what lights you're seeing on the Sure Signal.

Hi
As I'm the registered owner of the SS Box my number is registered automatically as far as I can see so have no idea how I remove the number from the box.
How do I do this??
Also my daughters number and phone hasnt changed so can't see why it wouldn't be picking that up.
I have changed the cable and can't see any difference in performance and the one next to it (signal / wifi) one is lit at all times. If i force the phone to connect then I can make the other white one light up sometimes as well but not if I don't force connect it.
I have a permanent red light on and the
Where do I go now?? All this connection problem has only been since I swapped my sim over which resulted in the box having to be re-registered to me due to how my phone number was swapped within vodafone.

Hi @Ndmaynard,
Your Sure Signal made connection with the network on 24 October at 11.44pm.
From your last post it shows you’re seeing a red light and the next part is missing, please let me know the exact light sequence you’re now seeing.
If possible, please also test your Sure Signal at a different location.
Thanks,
Gemma

Hi @Ndmaynard ,
A lot of the symptoms you've mentioned in this thread points to an issue with your power lead. Over time, it's not uncommon for the voltage to drop.
If you're unable to test your Sure Signal at a friend or relative's house for an hour, can you try another 12V lead?
For de-registering your Sure Signal:
● Login to My Vodafone.
● Click on the Sure Signal option.
● Select the Register/Deregister Sure Signal option.
You can deregister from here. Once you get an email to confirm it's complete, you can register from fresh. You may need to clear your browser cache and cookies and use a fresh window before registering again.
Cheers,
Ben

If this issue is due to you changing SIM, then the best thing to do would be to remove the number and re-add it to the Sure Signal.
Thanks,
