I have just upgraded to a new iphone 5s and the sim was activated last night.  However, I can't seem to get my new phone to be recognised by our sure signal.  Serial number is 40132207214.

Please can you help me?

Thanks

Hi

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information.

Your speed test results from here.

Your ping test results from here.

Your external IP address from here.

The results of a traceroute.

Your Sure Signal serial number:

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Hi efarrington.

I've performed a manual synchronisation for you so that your unit updates to the new SIM.

If you ever need to swap SIM cards with any of your phones in future, the quickest way to push a resync through is to de-register your Sure Signal entirely and then register it again from fresh. :Winking_smiley:

Cheers, Ben

Re: Sure Signal iPhone5 tried it all

I'm also having problems since upgrading to an I-phone 5s. Two other iphone 4s at home work perfectly. Broadband is BT infinity and old iphone 4s was working well before upgrade to 5s. Had the phone for 4 days.

So far I have:

Factory reset SS, Deregistered and re - registered, removed my number from the device, reentered it

All to no avail. Could you please resync device . The serial number for the device is: 21196821900

Thanks

Hi YMA,

Everything’s looking fine from our end.

Please let us know exactly what problems you’re having, any error messages and what light sequences you’re getting.

Thanks,

Jenny

I cross posted message and all working fine now after resync. Thanks
