Sure Signal, constant two flashing white lights

Hello

I have the two flashing white lights on my SS. My serial number 40120955279. I've used it for around two years and its been fine but for the last few weeks it has not worked. I've tried resetting it to no avail.

Can it be sorted out please?

Thanks

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks,

Wayne

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have the SS V2 version according to that link you provided.

None of the other links on that page relate to the issue I am having, so I am not sure how to proceed. Please advice.

@skippylee - Once you've followed the steps in our network troubleshooting thread, if you're still experiencing the issue, post the template with your answers here and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Thanks, but I fail to see how that link you provided has anything to do with my SS. It is talking about network issues with a mobile phone not a SS.

Do you have something more relvant to the problem I am having?

@skippylee - Everything you’ve posted looks fine, but I can see a location change has been detected on the Sure Signal which can cause issues.

This can happen if the Sure Signal’s been moved, even from one room to another, or by a change your ISP has made.

I’ve updated this today. Please complete this by performing a reset as follows:

  1. Connect device to internet and power supply
  2. Press and hold down reset button – located near the internet port
  3. Wait for all the LED (power + 2 white LED) to light up for few seconds (power LED will always remain lit)
  4. Wait for five seconds
  5. Release the reset button
  6. Within 10 minutes, 2 white LEDs will start flashing continuously – power LED will always remain constant in addition (unless there is an issue with local connectivity)

Thanks Jenny. I followed your instructions and now the SS seems to be working. So I am happy.

Just to let you know. The SS as sat on the same desk in the same room with the same ISP ever since I purchased it. It has not been moved in anyway as you've described. So nothing has changed for me.

@skippylee

That's great thanks for letting us know that your Sure Signal is now up and running.
