1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi, good news, the sure signal now works.  The solution was to do a full unit reset along with a reset of the HH.  Followed the start-up procedure and waited almost 1hr and both white lights came on solid.  Tried using mobile phones and then the third light came on.  Success.

Thanks again for you help and would suggest that one of your initial tests for others is to ensure a full reset is carried out, make sure that the button is pressed for a minimum of 30 seconds as I had tried this previously but may not have held the reset button for the full 30 seconds.

Happy bunny.

Regards

Roger

Hi watsonroger

Your IP address isn't showing as being registered in the UK on the RIPE database and for this reason I can't request it to be added to the whitelist.

Thanks

Sukhi

Thanks, please advise how to change the IP address and to what, this is a brand new BT supplied router V4.

Regards

Roger

Hi Just rebooted HH V4 and a new IP address has been obtained = 86.182.158.155, will the now be visible for your whitelist ?

Hi watsonroger,

These two latest IP addresses are fine. I'd still suggest speaking with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) about the first one, though, in case the system ever tries for a similar one. It may be a new one they're using that hasn't been updated yet..

I can see the Sure Signal did connect with the servers a couple of days ago. Did you find you had signal over the weekend, and is it still working now?

If not, what are the lights showing as now? Did they change at all? This may give us a better idea what's happening.
