Sure Signal has no lights on after power cut

Since a mains power cut my sure signal had not been working...no lights on at all.

I've tried resetting the ss, switching off the router and then resetting the ss. Still nothing. I've tried this for several days.

I have no network coverage at the moment at home.

Hi Woowoo25,

Could you please indicate which version of Sure Signal you have.

I guess you have tried the SS in a different power socket or you have something plugged into the front outlet socket and is working?

Yes, everything is working apart from the ss.

OK ... It's not unusual for a power cut to damage the inbuilt power supply, which I think has happened to you.

How old is your SS?

I believe it was March 2013 I got it.

The warranty period for the SS is 24 months, so unfortunately yours is no longer under warranty.

Vodafone can repair it for you, but it is quite likely that it will cost more than buying a new one.

You could contact your local shop who should be able to give you further details.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I wish you luck.

Regards.
