Sure Signal has stopped working

Hi,

We have recently up-graded our Broadband connection with Demon (Vodafone) to a Business package and since then the performance of our Sure Signal became erratic and has now stopped working altogether. The box is an Alcatel-Lucent 9361 Home Cell V2-V model No 40111057663; MAC 5067F05F79DB. We are on a BT landline (removed) which I understand is an ADSL 2+ line and recent speed test gave readings of:-

Download 4.75 meg

Upload 0.89 meg.

Both my partner & I have (expensive) Vodafone mobile accounts which are currently useless, without the SS boost, in the house as your mobile signal is extremely poor in our location (BA2 5NB). Please find me a solution as we both use the mobiles intensively for work and it's now having a real impact on our ability to do our jobs properly

Your ping test results from here.
Your external IP address from here.
The results of a traceroute.

 

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:
Click on Start and select Run
Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
A black box will appear.
In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

I tried everything on the troubleshooting thread to no avail.

Hi sdrichards1,

 

Everything looks fine with the registration and I can see that it updated on the server this morning.

 

Are you still having the same problem?

 

Can you confirm what light sequence you are now seeing?

 

Also, do you know if Demon adds extra security within the router firewalls for business users?

 

This change could mean that the IP address is being blocked by the firewall.
