Sure Signal iPhone5 tried it all

Hi guys and gals

Sure Signal mk1, new iPhone5, worked for a couple of days, then stopped working.

I've tried all of the possible fixes described in many posts, but I have no other users to change ownership (sad isn't it, but the vodafone signal is so lousy in the village, all of my friends are on other networks!).

Is this something a vodafone tech can help with please?

serial number of sure signal 21229069311

Cheers

Hi bongohuggy

Thanks for providing your Traceoute, it looks good to me. The IP is on the whitelist.

I've given it a re sync from our end hopefully that will give it a kick start. Can you perform a factor reset and let me know if that helps?

  • Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
  • The VSS should come online within the hour

Thanks

Sukhi

Thanks to everyone on the team who helped out.
Problem solved and one very happy customer!

I'm also having problems since upgrading to an I-phone 5s. Two other iphone 4s at home work perfectly. Broadband is BT infinity and old iphone 4s was working well before upgrade to 5s. Had the phone for 4 days.

So far I have:

Factory reset SS, Deregistered and re - registered, removed my number from the device, reentered it

All to no avail. Could you please resync device . The serial number for the device is: 21196821900

Thanks

Hi YMA,

Thanks for posting. I've sent a resync down to the Sure Signal for you. To complete the action just:

  1. Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  2. Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  3. Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  4. The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

:Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

Thanks all working now
