Sure Signal - intermittent calls in and out

ukabdale
4: Newbie

Good Morning,

For the last couple of days my Sure Signal has been very intermittent. Calls out only connect some of the time. Most calls in go straight to Voicemail. Today almost no calls are going through. I've restarted and factory reset the box.

Hi ukabdale,

Thanks for your post.

Your traceroute looks fine.

So that I can look into this further, please can you get back to me- with your full serial number as the one you’ve provided is a digit short.

Thanks,

Jenny

Hi ukabdale,

Thanks for that! I've had a quick check over your serial number and can see there seemed to be a stall in the updates. I've re-synchronised your unit manually so I'll just need you to perform another reset to complete the action. Could you do this and post back your results for me? :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

I reset this morning and have been attempting to use it all day. Still only about half of my calls - in or out - are going through. Outbound calls fail and inbound calls are going straight to voicemail. This is for all phones registered on the sure signal.

Hi ukabdale,

Thanks for getting back to us.

As everything looks fine it is baffling me a little bit.

The only thing that I can think of at this time is to check the MTU settings in the router configuration page to make sure it is set to 1500 or 1492 where 1500 is not possible.

Once done, reset both your router and your VSS and let us know if you see any changes.
