Sure Signal looks like it is working, but phone still has no signal

Youngie

I have had the Sure Signal V3 for 6 weeks now and most of that time was spent trying to configure the router so it would work. I have since bought a BT Home Hub 3 and the Sure Signal seems to have connected after and hour or so without any configuration of ports - hooray.

However, I am still not able to connect via my phone to the Sure Signal. It doesn't seem to recognise when I make a call or receive a call.

Weirdly, my sim card / Galaxy S3 now keeps playing up. I regularly lose connection to Vodafone from home as the signal is so poor, but now when I try and reconnect it tells me that my sim card is not registered on the Vodafone network. Then it will suddenly connects itself to the network, before dropping out again.

What am i doing wrong?.....

I have checked there is an active registration for my number and i have tried switching flight mode on and off. I read somewhere that i need to ensure 3g is enabled - how do i do that? Isn't that automatic.

Can anyone suggest a solution please?

Hi Youngie,

Glad to hear that! I'm sure it's all sorted now that it's re-synchronised but you are of course welcome to give my team a shout here if you get any hiccups in future. :Winking_smiley:

Cheers, Ben
