Thanks for that,

Assuming that you have tried another power outlet socket and the same condition prevails then it is almost certain that your power supply unit has failed.

Without test gear, the only way to confirm this is to replace it.

They are readibly available and cost around £10 or less from sites such as Amazon and Ebay. Just search for 'Sure Signal power supply'.

Version 1 and 2 use the same power supply and requires 12 volt  1.5 Amp supply with a 2.5 mm connector.

Regards.

Mike.

P.S. if you come across a 2 Amp supply, that's even better, but not less than 1.5 Amp.

there is no power light on so i would say its not worth doing all that and it was all working as far as im aware until late last night all i need is a phone number with someone at the end of it

@sandieb321

If there’s no power light at all, then chances are, the Sure Signal is fault.

To find out what you need to do in order to get this sorted, take a look at our Vodafone repairs thread.

You can also contact us on 191 / 03333040191.

Hi

My Sure Signal also stopped working all of a sudden (simply went dead - no power at all)

i signed up 2 new contracts recently on the basis the sure signal was providing me with required signal. Now that is has stopped working I really struggle as the best i get is one bar and most of the times no service at all.

Can you assist?

@secretto

Have you tried a new power cable with the Sure Signal?

If you've tried this, and the Sure Signal is still not powering up, this may be a fault. You can see the Vodafone repairs thread for help getting this sorted.

Thanks

there is no power cable as its the latest version which plugs directly into the wall.

How long is the warranty on the suren signal and what happens if it has run out?

i have also read about wifi calling being launched. will this be available for iphone 6 (as this would probably render the sure signal useless for me as both the phones are iphone 6)

thanks

@secretto

Please try connecting your Sure Signal in another location, such as a friend or family member's house. You’ll need to leave it connected for at least 24 hours.

We'll then be able to determine if the problems are specific to your location and router or with the Sure Signal itself.

If it still doesn't work in an alternative location, it's likely to be faulty. Warranty on all Sure Signal devices is 24 months. As long as it's within warranty, speak to Live Chat and we can arrange a replacement. Unfortunately if it's out of warranty, you'd have to purchase a new one.

We’re working on adding other top phones to our Wi-Fi Calling service. Find the latest news and register your interest on our website.

Hi. My Sure Signal v3 has only the power light on. Other 3 lights are not coming on.
The network router lights are flashing at the bottom of the SS.
If I hold the reset button the power light and network lights go off and don't come back on.

Thanks for you reply. Please see the below response.

I followed the troubleshoot guide, but nothing seemed to resolved the issue. Still only the power light shows. None of the other main lights.
