Sure Signal not working

Hi, this is the second Suresignal device but the problems are identical. I registered the device which worked fine for 2 to 3 weeks then it started to fail intermittently I would then try the reset button or unplug/replug the device would then work for periods of time from a couple of days down to half an hour. Eventually the failures became more frequent and the UP time became less and less currently the device has a soild power light and a very slow flashing internet light. I've deregistered and re-registered but this has not made any difference.

I am usin TalkTalk as my broadband provider and my current Sure signal serial No is 40132204468

I have virtually no signal at home so it is essental that Suresignal works otherwise i might as well cancell my vodafone contract

Hi daveb-46,

I've resynched the Sure Signal, so give it a reset for me:

For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

For Sure Signal version 3:

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

If that doesn't help, pop us the details Lee's requested and we can take a closer look.

Dave
