Hi There

I recently upgraded my phone from an Iphone 5 to an Iphone 5S 4G

I also upgraded my wifes phone from an Iphone 4 to a 5C

Since then the signal in the house ranges from no signal to 2 bars , it was previously a full signal

Am I missing something do I need to reset the system in some way

Also since I had the suresignal my own number is not visible in the managment screen but it says my phone is registered , very confusing

Any help or ideas would help

Simon

Hi Simon,

Welcome to the eForum. :Smiling:

De-registering your Sure Signal and registering it from fresh will usually sort out the management issues you're seeing.

Signal strength can vary between models, even if they're from the same manufacturer. Are you able to test your SIM card in your iPhone 5 so we can rule out a
local fault

This troubleshooting guide will also help you to check the essentials. :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

Tried a deregister and re register

tried a reset

no improvement in the signal

it was alwatys 5 bars and now its 2 bars or nothing

It doesn't seem to be working

Where the cat 5 cable connects to the box the top light is green and the bottom is flashing  amber

Hi Maxphotojess

To do a traceroute on a Mac open Terminal (Applications, Utilities) and type traceroute 212.183.133.177 and press Enter

I can see that it connected last night and early hours of this morning, and one phone is registered.

Are you still having difficulties?

DaveCD

see attached screen grab for traceroute on my mac

Hi Maxphotojess,

The traceroute looks fine.

It looks like the Sure Signal may be running an old version of the operating software.

I'll ask for any updates to be pushed through for you. Keep the Sure Signal connected whilst we do this.

Dave
