Sure Signal problem

Hi we have a Sure Signal 2 which worked well when we had a BT router, then we changed to Sky and it didn't seem to boost the signal..........it hasn't been a problem until now when the local Vodafone mast is being upgraded and our cell signal is intermittent. I've worked through the troubleshooting in posts I've seen:

download speed 8.96,

upload 0.94,

ping 29m and

a string of CMD data attached to this message

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Nothing I've done after reading the troubleshooting suggestions has improved our i-phone signal strength.

Your speeds and traceroute look fine and you're also on the latest software.

 

Please can you perform a hard reset and let me know what lights you're seeing?

 

Reset your Sure Signal:

 

For version 2:

 

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

Hi Administrator,

I'm also having an ongoing issue with my sure signal. I received a new one in mid-February, but it's never worked properly (due to family issue i've not been at home most of the time since then). I get a constant red flashing light on the left hand side and a constant red

 

My details are as follows:

Speed Ping Test : 48ms

Download Spped : 12.68 Mbps

Upload Speed : 0.90 Mbps

IP : 109.148.154.139

Serial Number : 40133849352

I can't seem to paste the output from the tracert, although I have a screen grab of it.

Hi Mark,

 

Your Sure Signal hasn’t made any contact with our network.

 

Please can you clarify the light sequence again?

 

Is the power light switching between a red flashing light, and the red solid light?
