I have a SS v1 with BT HH5

Recently moved and tried to get SS to work. Have tried changing postcode, deregistered and registered, completed a full factory reset suggested by Vodafone support and also Vodafone actioned a full resync. They say everything looks OK at their end but all I get is 1st light lit and 2nd light slow flash - any suggestions??

I have hada the same problem since January 21st!!

It was only today that Vodafone admitted that this had bben a problem worldwide and " a few" customers are still having problems.

What really irks me is the fact that they do not take owenership of  theporblem. I have had over 8 calls now each lasting nearly an hour and all I get is the same advice. IT all appears to be working here, please try again within 24 hours!!!!!!!!!

I run an IT business adn my customers woul be incandescent with thi sprt of customer support.

No ticketing system, no tracking of my complaint and keeping me informed.

I have to do all the chasing. The tech team appear to be interested, but so far no activity.

I suggested it would be asimpler to send out another box and see if that resolves teh problem, but nobody wants to hear about that.

So after nearly 20 years with Vodafone, their time is abou tup and I WILL BE REQUESTING THE PAC CODE - AND OF COURSE TELLING ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS WHAT APPALLING SERVICE THEY ARE OFFERING

Hi @seanlane

This is something that is being looked into. It may be worth trying a new power cables and the resetting the Sure Signal as it last connected to our servers on the 11 November 2014.

Thanks,

Sukhi

Thanks - I've ordered a new Sagem PSU so fingers crossed this solves the problem

Hi @seanlane

Try a new power unit.  See therad below.  If your SS1 is around 3 or more years old chances are teh power unit is failing.

I know the lights flash up but the problem is not enough power is getting through.

Get a 12v 1.5amp (2 amps is ok) and ensure the female jack is 2.5mm.  Try and thsi and hopefully it will work.

Good luck
