Hi Colinoxford

The traceroute looks fine, and I can see that the device has been resynced today.

Can you let me know if you're still having difficulties, and if so, which light sequence do you see?

Cheers

DaveCD

it is still just showing a solid red light nothing else

do i need to do something else ?

Hi Colinoxford,

If this is the only light showing there is no Internet connection being made.

Can you try a different Ethernet cable and port to see if this helps?

Thanks,

Kay

tried that

tried turning off my firewall

still only a solid red light showing

I dont understand this, it worked for a couple of days then stopped, i dont remember chaning anything on my router or pc

Hi Colinoxford,

If you’re only seeing the solid power light then your Sure Signal still hasn’t been able to connect to our servers.

There may have been a firmware update to your router which has affected the connection.

Can you check to make sure the following ports are open/forwarded on your router:-

Port Number

8          TCP      UDP

50         TCP      UDP

53         TCP      UDP

67                     UDP

68                     UDP

123                   UDP

500                   UDP

1723     TCP      UDP

4500                 UDP

33434 - 33445    UDP

If this doesn’t help, try the unit on a different internet connection, such as that of a family member or neighbour, to see if it works there.

Let me know how you go on.

Cheers,

Andrew
