Sure Signal v3 not working

Hi

 

My Sure Signal v3 stopped working 3 days ago. I have spent literally hours on the phone to tech support but nothing works. I have opened all the relevant ports with Sky Broadband, and dedicated an IP address to the device. I have tried to reset the device according to the instructions on the troubleshooting web page (hold the reset button for 10 seconds) but this just turns off the device. On the recommendation of a vodafone techie, I have held it down for 20 seconds, but this does nothing at all.

 

I have a permanent red power light on and a slow flashing internet light, but no other lights at all. One techie at Vodafone even told me that the device will not work with Sky Broadband - even though it has worked for the past year, although we have to turn it off and on again at the wall at least 2 times a week to get a mobile signal.

 

Any ideas?
