Sure Signal

Hi - I bought a Sure Signal last year for a Vodaphone contract I had on my works phone and it worked great. My employer changed suppliers and therefore we're no longer on Vodafone. My father has a Vodafone contract and lives in a terrible area for Vodafone signal so I gave him the sure signal; I wasn't aware I had to deregsiter it for it to work.

How do I go about deregistering this please? It seems like a waste that he should have to buy another one when I have one sitting here doing nothing.
