Sure Signal

Silly question, but manual doesn't mention this at all.

Do I need to keep Sure Signal connected to the modem for it to work? Or once it's connected, can I move it to a more convenient place in the house as a stand alone plug in?

It'd need to have a connection to your router at all times.
