Hi

My sure signal has stopped working, I have forward all the relevant ports but to no avail. The light sequence appears to change frequently so I have tried the suggested steps for an number of sequences and this is has not helped.  Can you advise further?

Thanks

Tom

Thanks for the reply. Rather than spend £100 for the latest Sure Signal, I purchased a new power adapter. The Sure Signal sprung back to life almost instantly with solid 1,2 & 4 lights and all mobiles in the house connected.

The power adapter seems to be the problem, as seen in numerous posts.

The 4G phones would not connect on Network Mode setting of GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto so I changed it to GSM/WCDMA auto and they connected like a treat. As far as I understand all the Sure Signals do not work with 4G. So you will need to do this swap at home and when you leave home.

Strangely enough the trace route still does not connect, see below:

Thanks for letting us know you're back up and running.

I've checked the serial number and can see that it's connecteing, however I noticed the software is an older version so I've sent the new software to your device.

Please reset your phones and Sure Signal as below after 24 hours to complete the update:

  • Press and hold down the reset button until the LED’s flash once from top LED to bottom LED in sequence this can take up to 30 seconds.
  • Continue to hold the reset button in and remove the power cable from the VSS for 5 seconds.
  • Plug back the power cable to the VSS whilst still holding down the reset button
  • Wait for the LEDs to flash once from top LED to bottom LED in sequence
  • Release the reset button

Thanks Ben

I've tried both of them but no change I am afraid.

Is there anything else to try? I've just signed a new contract butI will have to cancel it if this is not resolved as I cannot receive phone calls in the house although I don't know why as I live in a major city!

I have done this already, see above.

Please can you check whether the firmware on the device needs to be updated?
