Hi,

I have a sure signal 3 which is constantly losing signal and flashing orange, sometimes it shows as working but will disconnect once a call is made and is getting very hot.

It started off working perfectly but over the last month has become basically useless.

Hi 610,

The Sure Signal needs to be in a well ventilated location to ensure it doesn’t overheat. Given recent temperatures, that would be especially important. Can you make sure that it's in an open space and not, for example, tucked away on a shelf.

The figures you've posted all look fine, so just to cover all bases I've resynched the Sure Signal.

Can you do a factory reset of the box so that this picks up?

For Sure Signal version 3:

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Dave

Hello.

Thanks for the replies so far, unfortunately I'm still having the same problems.

It worked ok yesterday but came home a while ago and found the power and amber lights flashing on the unit and it being very hot again (is a ventilated room, not a cupboard etc).
