Hello.

Please take a look through these Sure Signal Trouble Shooting threads :

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Vodafone-Sure-Signal-troubleshooting/td-p/23917...

as these may help to resolve issues. They have links to the key things you can do to try and self resolve the issue you are experiencing.

Please Note : If the Sure Signal displays ANY signs of internal failure then unplug it straightaway and contact Vodafone Customer Services.

@PM Paul:

NO LIGHTS ON A SureSignal V3 IS INDICATION OF A SERIOUS & DANGEROUS INTERNAL FAILURE.

Assuming it is a Version 3 with pass-through socket, it should be immediately removed from its power socket and not plugged back in, even on the recommendation of Vodafone Technical.

This has the potential to cause the unit to explode internally, trip your 32amp mains electric breaker and go with a very large bang and a flash.. if it's not already done so..

If there are no lights on your SureSignal V3, remove it immediately from the socket and see the posting I made here:

http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Suresignal-V3-Overheated-Blew-Up-Exploded-Hot-Bu...

Please see this thread regarding reporting this issue to Trading Standards and BBC's Watchdog. BBC Watchdog need to know in order to allow for a full investigation into this device and its now, common failures.

If you put a message on the end of my post, Vodafone will contact you directly to arrange a FREE replacement regardless of it's warranty status and when you purchased it..

Oh.. don't forget to claim for the defrosted contents of the fridge/ freezer under consequential damages of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or Consumer Rights Act 2015 depending on when you purchased it.

@ BandofBrothers

How is someone expected to identify and deduce there is internal damage when many don't have other understanding of a problem other that the lights are out on the device..!!

Should you not be suggesting that checking the device for internal failure prior to pointing them to a trouble shooting page that suggests trying other sockets and other tests on a potentially dangerous device?

It is important to report all failed SureSignal V3 using the links below to:
