Sure signal not working

My sure signal isn't working .....all lights are flashing....it is version 2 

serial number 41113738565

 

just done a reset .....it's been like this for 2 days ......still the same

Hi,

 

Are you a Virgin user for broadband?

 

Their was a forum announcement not too long ago advising it's known their is some connection issues with the sure signal. 

 

May I ask Have you you looked at the Troubleshooting tips on the forum.

No I'm with sky ....it just started flashing a cpl of days ago and now and again it's just the power light on 

Ive done the reset 

last time this happened Vodafone did something at their own end and it started working

Ok, it's just that Virgin Usersxare currently experiencing issues. 

 

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. They are available on eBay for around £10.

Surely if lights are on then the power supply is ok

when i go into my vodafone account i cant see my sure signal at all 

found it

 

speed test ping63 download spoeed 2.35 upload speed 0.85 

ip address 90.221.252.73

im on a mac so i didnt know how to do a trace route

@seamusandjWe've resynced your Sure Signal to resolve this issue. 

Please perform the following reset on your Sure Signal after 24 hours has passed: 

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.

    If you're still having trouble, please let us know the exact light sequence on the Sure Signal, and we'll look into this further.
