Hi @suntek

It appears that the latest Firmware hasn’t reached your Vodafone Sure Signal.

I’ve had this sent through again for you.

Please leave the device plugged in and turned on for 24 hours.

As Sukhi has advised before once this time period has elapsed, reset the phone and the Vodafone Sure Signal.

Cheers,

Laura

My Sure Signal Ver 1 did that, after many years of faith full service it just would not register.

Mine was not the only one, many others reported this end of last year make you wonder if something's a foot...

Hi @suntek

Everything you've posted looks to be great and correct.

I have asked for the latest software to be pushed through to your router.

Please do not power off r reset the Sure Signal for 24 hours. Once this time has passed, please reset the Sure Signal and phone to complete the process.

Thanks,

Sukhi

Hi

Hi @suntek ,

So we can narrow things down, please test another Ethernet cable. If this doesn't help, please let me know which router it is you're using and if this has been reset too.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi,

Tried replaceing cat5 cable & reset sure signal & hub still wont work.

I am using a homehub 4

Hi,

Also forgot to say i have opened below ports as suggested in another post

Ports opened for forwarding

  • 8 (TCP & UDP)
  • 50 (TCP & UDP)
  • 53  (TCP & UDP)
  • 67 (UDP)
  • 68 (UDP)
  • 123 (UDP)
  • 500 (UDP)
  • 1723 (TCP & UDP)
  • 4500 (UDP)
  • 33434 - 33445 (UDP)

Hi @suntek,

Please ensure BT Smart Setup is switched off on your router settings.

When it's activated, it will stop an active connection reaching your Sure Signal.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks,
