Hi TMZH,

As you are with BT, you could have been experiencing problems recently .........

http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Announcements/Sure-Signal/m-p/2504530#M207

But hopefully all is resolved now.

Regards.

@TMZH

I can see the Sure Signal connected with our servers last night.

Please describe the lights you're now seeing.

I'd also recommend checking that the Smart Setup is disabled on your BT HomeHub and reset the Sure Signal.

@Landshark2007

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information:

  • The Sure Signal Serial number
  • The lights you're seeing on the Sure Signal
  • The results of a traceroute

VSS Traceroute command

    • On a PC:
    • Click on Start and select Run
    • Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
    • A black box will appear
    • In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
    • Paste the output of this command into your reply

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

problems are still existing with BT.

My sure signal has not worked for 2 days now.

Any ideas when the issues will be fixed?

Yes - my SS is down as well - still cannot sync with Vodafone's servers.

Wherever I lay my '@', that's my 'ome.

This sure signal is getting beyond a joke and will cause me to leave Vodafone after an extremely long time. It will work for 2 days perfectly fine then I leave the house return and the sure signal just does not pick up my phone although still on the same network and nothings changed!!!

Extremely frustrating!!!!!!

I have rang Vodafone countless times and they reset the device and all OK for a day or two then fails again.

In am in a blackspot at home from where I work and without the sure signal I just cannot receive or make calls.

Can any one help?

Thanks guys

@TMZH

Thanks for providing us with that information.

Are you still experiencing the same light sequence as described on your initial post?
