Sure signal problem

Hi, my sure signal has been working fine and the last few days it is not picking up my phone, when I used to make a call the phone light on the box lit up and now it doesn't, I have tried a reset, the serial number of the box is 40120953456 please help

Hi Rbwindover,

 

It appears that your phone is losing connection and is unable to reconnect.

 

A seamless handover from the network to the Sure Signal isn’t a supported feature and there is no ‘fix’ for this, however toggling to airplane mode and back will resolve the issue.

Have you tried what James has said? Turn airplane mode on and off again.

Basically I keep losing the signal. Sometimes mid call or notice that it has reset itself and goes back to red powerlight then internet then signal confirmation.

Can you test this on another broadband connection to see if it keeps happening?

 

If it does, it could mean that your Sure Signal is faulty and needs to be repaired

I guess I could ask one of my neighbours if they'll try it out for a couple of days and see what happens. Not sure if they're on vodafone or not though.

I have had my VSS since January, once registered it worked fine. I had to buy a new iPhone kept the same number, since then it hasn't seemed to work so well.

 

Light sequence as follows

Either

Solid red power and flashing internet light

or flashhing power and solid orange service and phone lights.

 

Please help, as I'm getting tired of having to stand outside or on chairs to attempt to boost the signal!!

I have the same issue as lots of others, in the last day or so my 3G has disappeared. Three lights on my mKe 1 sure signal box and have been through trouble shoot and d,e register / register three time. Is there an issue at vodas end as nothing seems to work ?

I would like to request a re-sync of my Sure Signal device. It has recently stopped giving 3G and a resync is the only thing I haven't tried.

The serial number of my device is: 21224330361

I’ve just performed the resync for you.

 

To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

 

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights display, release the reset button
  • The Sure Signal will come online in about an hour
