Hi James do I need to reset anything my end ? Thanks for your help 🙂

Hi kerrycongreve,

After any Sure SIgnal resync it's best to do a factory reset.

For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

For Sure Signal version 3:

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Hi there kerrycongreve,

I can see there are two numbers registered to your VSS.

Do they both drop calls/connection?

Thanks,

The other is a friend that can be taken off.

Hi

I have just been on a call and noticed it wasnt even connected to the sure signal !! and then have to mess about going outside as got no signal in the house.

Could someone one please look into to this and give me a call or a solutuion.

Regards

Kerry

Hi again kerrycongreve,

Thanks for coming back to me.

I can't see whether the other number you have registered drops calls. Can you let me know the answer to that question please?

If both numbers drop calls you could have a faulty Sure Signal. It's showing that it was registered in 2010 which means it'll be out of warranty.

Do calls drop if you try the VSS at another house, such as a friend or relative's?

Cheers,

LeeH
