Sure signal thats we were registered on blew up, we have 2 contracts and little or no signal. Help

Sure signal that we were registered on blew up, it belonged to my son who left it when he left home and has since left vodafone, there are 2 contracts in the house and we have little or no signal also we have no 3g nor do we seen likely to get it any time soon! We have been with Vodafone for over 10 years and are finding little to NO help with this problem
