Our sure signal version 1 has stopped working in the last week or so. It now has all four lights on the unit lit and the ethernet lights on the back are solid too. Can someone help as unable to make and receive calls?

Hi seakens,

Your problem could be a failing power supply especially if it is the original one ..... stationary lights all showing is one of the symptoms.

If you require a replacement, they can be obtained from Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 delivered.

Good luck,

Mike.

I have now changed the power lead and ethernet cable (just in case) and to no avail. Still diverts back to all four lights being on constantly!

Hi @seakens

Your IP address isn't on the whitelist which is why you're not getting a connection.

I've requested for this to be added for you. This can take up to three working days.

Thanks,

Kay

Welcome to our eForum! :Smiling:

Everything you’ve posted looks ok.

Please test a different Ethernet cable and check your ports are opened as follows:

  • 8 (TCP & UDP)
  • 50 (TCP & UDP)
  • 53  (TCP & UDP)
  • 67 (UDP)
  • 68 (UDP)
  • 123 (UDP)
  • 500 (UDP)
  • 1723 (TCP & UDP)
  • 4500 (UDP)
  • 33434 - 33445 (UDP)

IP addresses to be allowed on the router & firewall

  • 183.133.177-179
  • 183.133.181-182
  • 183.131.128-191

I can see it's registered successfully, so once you've followed the above, please do a factory reset:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in

It will come back online within 1 hour.

If it's still not working, let us know what light sequence you're seeing.

Hi Gemma,

Thank you for the welcome.

Please advise how I open the ports and allow IP addresses.

I have a D Link DSL 3680 router.

Thanks in advance

@gjgrst - You'll need to contact your ISP to make these changes.
