SureSignal Call Quality Issues

Higgers

I have intermittent call quality issues, usually the person on the other end cannot hear me but I can hear them.

I did a search on the forum and it talked about broadband speeds not meeting minimum requirements but couldn't see anywhere what these requirements are.

We don't have the speediest of connections but generally enough for everything we need, even watching TV.

Broadband speed test shows 5.39 download/0.12 upload/121 ping
3G (using SureSignal) speed test shows 0.61 download/0.07 upload/129 ping

Is this not sufficient for a good quality call both ways?

Thanks

Marie

Should probably add, it's a V3 and it has been moved about a metre or more from the router (BT Home Hub) as I also read this could cause issues.

Thanks

@Higgers The minimum requirement for your Sure Signal to work without connection issues is 1Mb upload and 1Mb download.

I'd recommend prioritising your bandwidth settings within your router towards your Sure Signal.

If you're unsure how to do this, you'll need to get in touch with your ISP (internet service provider).
