SureSignal Problems

I recently was supplied with a replacement Virgin Super Hub Router/modem & now find the Sure signal 1 will not connect. Virgin assure me that all the requested ports are open,- as supplied by Vodaphone. Lights 1 & 2 remain on & rebooting does not work.

The Sure Signal was working perfectly before the router was swapped.

All of those ports looks fine.

 

What Andy means is plug the cable in, wait until this is active (completely switched on) and then re-insert the Ethernet cable.

Hi,

I have now changed the sure signal for a v.2 model. This too fails to connect, the 1st light flashes continually  & both lights on the rear indicate that there is a good internet connection. As I have been unable to use the sure signal for some time now is it possible that a bar has been applied? Short of screaming I don't know what to try next!

Hi MikeKearley,

Thanks for the update. If another Sure Signal has failed to connect, it could mean to something on your internet setup is blocking access.

 

Can you let me know the serial number for the V2 you've now got so I can rule out a blocked device for you?
