Hi,

The suresignal appears to be connected (red power light solid + two white solid lights for internet and service) but the phone (iphone 6S running IOS 10.0.2) will not connect to it for several days now.

Have tried resetting several times, turning phone on/off several times...but no luck.

Hi

I'm sure the Vodafone Team will look at your traceroute.

May I ask you to try the following which may or may not help.

Go into the phones settings and turn off 4g to force 3g which may help the iPhone connect to the Sure Signal which pushes out 3g.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Yes, I tried that a couple of days ago (and it is still set on 3G on the phone), but no success...thanks for the suggestion though!

Hi,

ok.

If this was my situation I'd then try de registering the number for a period of 24 hours and the re register it with the Sure Signal. Turn airplane mode On and Off and see if it connects.

Vodafone, please can you respond - this is a business phone and I am currently unable to use it (unless I hold it up to a window away from my desk, and even then I only get one bar...). Do I need to move to another provider/get another phone?

@robs112

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

We're aware of some uses experiencing the same issue since updating their iOS.

Please could you try deregistering the Sure Signal for 24 hours and then reregistering this again.

If nothing changes once this has been done, let us know.

OK, I deregistered it yesterday, and it is still deregistered.

But it is now working fine. I have 5 bars on the phone, all the SS3 lights are as they should be (i.e. phone connection light comes on when I use it) and I have been using it all day.

Do I need to register it again or should I just leave it as is...?

@robs112 That's unusual as your Vodafone Sure Signal is showing as deregistered on our server.

As the device isn't registered, we're not entirely sure how you're managing to get a connection from it.

I'd advise to leave it as it is for now if it's working for you, however if anything happens and you need help, please let us know.

Still haven't reregistered, and it is still working fine...

No signal if I turn it off, but turn it back on and 5 bars...

@robs112 Thanks for the update. As Rahim mentioned, if you have any issues just let us know.
