Suresignal V2 Stopped Working

Hi

 

A couple of days ago my Suresignal stopped working. With no signal at my home, my family are totally reliant on this for phone signal.

 

I have a steady power light, the other 2 lights constantly flash. There have been no changes to my internet setup, router or LAN. Below is the normal info asked for. Can anyone assist?

Hi dave0583,

 

Your traceroute doesn’t hit the Vodafone servers, therefore it won’t connect.

 

Have there been any changes made by your broadband provider lately, or have you changed any equipment?

 

I’d recommend getting in touch with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to see if there are any problems with your line.

Hi Simon,

 

I have spoken to my ISP (Demon) and they assure me there is no problem thier end. You say that the traffic from my suresignal isnt hitting your servers. Could you let me konw what that last visible hop address or address range that I shoulds see is? I can then go back to my ISP with some more info.

Hi dave0583,

 

Please provide a traceroute to 212.183.133.181.

 

This is to see if it hits our servers, as it’s currently timing out at your ISP.

 

To rule out a faulty Sure Signal, please test it at a different location (a friend or family members address).

I will post the ouput from teh Tracert as requested once I get home from work. One thought though, my ISP is Demon which is now Vodafone. Can you not pursue this with them directly? I will also try my Suresignal in an alternate location.

We wouldn’t have access to do this.
