Suresignal V2 both light flashing

Hi there,

Please help to force a resync of the suresignal V2 we got. Both lights are flashing and already tried reset no luck.

Internet speed is fine around 8Mb and the device has worked before.

NAT is not the problem as it has been tested working with a V1, V2 and V3 on the same router via both ADSL or VDSL. Portforward has never been needed as IPSEC VPN pass-through.

Please try to resync!

Hi dsldsl999,

I've completed a resync of your Sure Signal.

To complete the process, please follow the steps below:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights display, release the reset button
  • The Sure Signal will come online in about an hour

Thanks,

Matt B

Hi,

Done the reset again, are the lights on the V2 supposed to be flashing constantly again? I have turned off the firewall completely just to elimimnate the NAT issue for the time being.

can you please check if our WAN IPs are on your whitelist?

93.89.128.218

78.33.98.233

109.224.175.97

We also have a V1 that used to work until yesterday until we moved it. Same network setup and now even if we moved it back still only power light flashing and the @ light not flashing. S/N for that one is 21229783762

Hi dsldsl999,

All the IP addresses are on our whitelist.

I've just checked and it seems the location change hadn't fully updated.

I've updated that.

The Sure Signal hasn't made contact with the server since 25 August.

Please can you try it at a different location, with a different ISP?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi,

Just a few more questions:

Our two suresignal has always be setup and working ok with

1) V1 connected to our main router though the main WAN IP: 93.89.128.218.

2) V2 connected to the same network but we use 1 to 1 NAT to map a seperate WAN IP to it 93.89.128.219.

There has been no changes to our network at all and the current situation even after the resync is that both V! and V2 sure signal cannot work on our network but if I connect the V1 to a different line then it will work. V2 we have not check yet but will check next. I can see IKE (UDP 4500 traffic) between your server WAN IP to our WAN IP but it just doesn't connect. The V1 @ light don't even turn on so cannot detect interent I guess?

Hi dsldsl999,

There can sometimes be updates carried out by your internet service provider (ISP) behind the scenes, which affect this.

I’ve updated your address details again to make sure this is correct.

Please reset both Sure Signals as follows:

  1. Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid
  2. Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in
  3. Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead
  4. Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

Thanks,

Jenny
