Suresignal V2 won't connect additional iPhone 3G

Hi,

I have a Suresignal V2 which is current connected to an iPhone 3GS and an iPhone 3G and are both working fine.  However I have tried to add my daughters iphone 3G and it won't connect. She recieved the text message a couple of days ago saying she can now use the SS but it is still not connecting. I have reset the iPhone and have put it in and out of airplane mode but its still not connecting.

Would a resync help?

Many thanks

Hi rjap,

Thanks for the information you’ve provided. I’ve checked our systems and can see that there are three numbers registered to your Sure Signal.

So that we can be certain your Sure Signal is as up-to-date as possible, I’ve just forced a resync for you. To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Let me know how you go on.

Thanks

Andrew

Hi.

I did as you instructed as soon as I got your message and then had to go out straight away (5.25pm).  I returned half an hour ago (8.35pm) to find the system light flashing and it is still doing so, and as a result I don't have a mobile signal.  Has the resync completed okay and if so why is the system light still flashing?  If the resync hasnt completed okay, is there something else I need to do from my end.

Thanks

Hi

You can ignore my previous message.  The system light has now stopped flashing and my daughters phone is now connected.

Many thanks for your help.
