Suresignal disco - lights 1, 2 & 3, light 2, light 1 & 3, then all off

divelandy
4: Newbie

I'm trying to get my Vodafone Sure Signal to work again with my BT home hub 3.

for the last few days, I've only had the power light illuminated - and the network lights at the back.

After resetting the VSS - whait ages while pressing the button above network connector, then the lights cycle - 1, 2, 3 & 4

Leave VSS and think nothing has changed as just power light illuminated - and network traffic flashing as before.

Next time i look, theres a disco going on with the light sequence 1, 2 & 3, then just 2, then 1 and 3, then all off, and then repeat.

Help!

I now have the top 2 lights showing.

Nope, back to the squence in the title, and now light one solid and light 2 flashing...

Hi there divelandy,

Thanks for your post.

Have the lights settled down yet? I've checked the VSS and can see it connected to our servers this morning at 03:17.

I've forced a resync for you. Please could you factory reset it for me and let me know if this resolves?

Cheers,

LeeH

I reset the box and it's been sitting there for the last 2 hours cycling itself. It starts with light one coming on. Eventially light #2 flashes and then stays on, followed by light 4 flashing, at which point it appears to reset and start again.

This is the same problem I've got, did you get it resolved? My SureSignal with a Homehub 2 was working perfectly until last week, tech support say its ok from their end, must be my Homehub that's at fault. I don't see how as everything else I have connected works fine. I'm loath to try another router  without knowing a make that's guaranteed to work.

Its still WIP. Keep an eye on this thread and your (our) answer may be along shortly...
