Suresignal disco - lights 1, 2 & 3, light 2, light 1 & 3, then all off

I'm trying to get my Vodafone Sure Signal to work again with my BT home hub 3.

for the last few days, I've only had the power light illuminated - and the network lights at the back.

After resetting the VSS - whait ages while pressing the button above network connector, then the lights cycle - 1, 2, 3 & 4

Leave VSS and think nothing has changed as just power light illuminated - and network traffic flashing as before.

Next time i look, theres a disco going on with the light sequence 1, 2 & 3, then just 2, then 1 and 3, then all off, and then repeat.

Help!

Hi CharlesMi

Thanks for posting back, Traceroute looks fine to me. I've forced a re-sync for you, could you factory reset the box and let me know if this resolves the issue?

Thanks

Sukhi

Hi CharlesMi

Can you test the Sure Signal as a different location, maybe around a friend’s house?

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks

Sukhi

Hi Sukhi,

i tried my Sure Signal on another system, same problem. This was with a Sky router.

any advice, please?

Charles

My potential resolution is to get a replacement SureSignal box. Unfortunatly, they are out of stock at the moment. :robotfrustrated:

Hi CharlesMi,

I can see that your Sure Signal box did connect to the network this morning at 3:21.  Is everything up and running for you now?

Thanks,

Phil

im afraid not, it still cycles through the sequence, first light, then second light flashing, then top two lights solid and fourth flashing and then back to the beginning.
