Suresignal not working - only power light on solid.

Hi,

 

On BT infinity 

Router is normal BT home hub with correct ports forwarded.

Port Clamping has been enabled.

 

SS stopped working week before I moved - just set it back up and changed post code.

 

Tried a full reset and left over night.

 

Serial Number :- 21224643953

 

Please fix as my wife's phone and mine are uselss without it.

Hi droo, 

 

Apologies for the delay in responding to you - we're a small team and we answer our posts in the order we get them.

 

Your traceroute and speeds are fine and I've checked your IP - no issues there, but the steady light means that your Sure Signal hasn't established a connection to the internet.

 

I've checked the serial number you've given me and that unit hasn't updated on our servers since 18/11/2012.

 

I've forced a resybch for you now, can you hard reset the unit again and let me know how you get on?

 

  • Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
  • The VSS should come online within the hour
