I have done several power cycles on the Suresignal - No Change

I have done a hard reset (holding reset button, remove and replace power cable) - No Change

I have deregistered from the vodafone account for 24 hours and re-registered - No Change

Lights 1, 2 and 4 are on.

I can see the Suresignal, with an assigned IP in the router and it shows a bit of data sent and received (probably during the initial setup).
Nothing has changed my end in the way of hardware or setup since it was last working, it has been working for years with no problem, this has just started recently that we have noticed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Factory reset seems to have done the trick with my phone, not sure what was going on there!

All appears sorted now, thanks for the help.

Hi Tanthalas,

Please let me know your Sure Signal serial number so I can get the registration and firmware version checked for you.

James

Hi James and thanks for the reply.

The Suresignal serial number is: 21197150721

Thanks

Hi Tanthalas,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I can see that the Sure Signal is still running the old firmware and we’ve requested for this to be pushed out to you.

So this happens, please make sure that the device is switched on and connected over the next 24 hours.

James

Thanks James,

It will remain on and connected as it always is, ill keep an eye on it and report back tomorrow after work or over the weekend.

Should have asked previously, but how will I know if/when the firmware update is complete?  I assume the Suresignal box will need a reboot, will that be automatic?

As of now, there is no change in my situation.

Thanks

Hi Tanthalas,

The upgrade usually goes through automatically and you don't have to reset the Sure Signal, just the phones themselves.

Looking at your Sure Signal though, the update hasn't gone through. The team that deals with them aren't in the office at the moment but I'm going to have it manually pushed down to you ASAP.

Please keep the Sure Signal connected in the meantime and I'll post back as soon as it's been successful.

Many thanks, Ben

Thanks Ben,

Ill keep an eye on the thread and I get email updates when someone posts.  Will update again when it is done.

Still no change, any news or information on whats happening please?

Hi Tanthalus,

Your Sure Signal still seems to be on the old firmware, so I'll chase this up for you.

Make sure that you leave it plugged in and connected. We need this to push it through.
