Suresignal v2 - no incoming calls or text messages

Hello,

 

I have followed all instructions :

 

line test by BT - speeds both way OK

Resync - done

tracert done

reboot - phones / ss / router ( same one been working for 18 months )

 

still cant recieve incoming calls or texts for 3 weeks now.

 

Spent several hours on fone to 2nd level tech support

Suresignal website now back running

 

Deleted SS box that was returned and registered new v3 one.

 

Put in all my settings and numbers.

 

It works - so after 2 months of no incoming calls and texts - we back Operational.

Hi safetycrew,

 

Your traceroute looks ok.

 

I can see your Sure Signal has made contact with the network at 4:38pm yesterday.

 

Is everything ok now?

 

If not please can you let us know the light sequence you’re seeing?

I have v2

 

Still wont accept incoming calls - when I goto town fone works fine.

 

Solid Red power light - Signal light on solid - 3rd light sometimes solid / sometimes off.

Firstly, I’m sorry that we’ve not replied to your previous post.

 

The lights you’re seeing show that the Sure Signal is ready for use.

 

The third light will only show when a call or internet connection are in progress.

 

Check to make sure you’ve got the following ports open/forwarded on your router:-

If this doesn’t help, the next thing would be to try the Sure Signal in a different location, that of a family member or friend.

Hi guys,

 

Finally someone suggested I send back the box for diagnosis.

 

I did that and hey presto - its faulty and not worth repair - Vodaphone sent a new Suresignal 3 in post.

 

Comes with a pass through plu - so uses one less socket.

 

Go to resgister and Vodafone website down - doh............

If an issue is down to the connection or settings, a new or fixed box wouldn't change things. That's why we cover those first.

 

The site seems to be running OK. If you're still having issues, try clearing your cache and cookies.
