Solution

V2 setup but no phone signal

tippers
1: Seeker
I have registered a v2 sure signal in my vodafone account (only one user) and the power and system lights are on steady. It shows as registered and active but my Samsung S3 mini does not get an enhanced signal.

Tried my sim in another samsung phone and tried de-registering and re-registering but still no joy.

Hi tippers,

Everything looks fine from what you’ve posted.

Please try the following:

  • Register and using another mobile number (friend or family members)
  • Rebooting your phone
  • Check your phone's settings to make sure 3G is turned on

If you’re still having problems after trying these, please let us know what light sequence you see when you make a call.

It’s also worth trying a new SIM card which you can pick up in your local store.

Thanks,

Jenny

Mysteriously the sure signal started working on Friday morning (and has continued to work since) so it must have been something I did on Thursday evening that fixed it.

Thanks for your help.
