V3 Power light on, flashing internet - no connection

Seems a common thread on V3 model. Power is on, internet symbol is flashing, no other lights. Reset 8+ times and no connection. Hope you can help

Everything is fine with your speed test, ping test and traceroute.

Hi Andy

Many thanks for your confirmation. Still not there yet. Current status indicated by the VSS is permanent orange handset and permanent internet symbols and flashing power on light. Any further advice would be welcome.

Hi Philip_Harris,

It can take up to 48 hours for an IP address to be added to our whitelist. 

You may also need to reset the Sure Signal after the 48 hours has passed. :Winking_smiley:

I have re-booted a few times and only get a flashing internet symbol. Anything else I could try.

The light you're seeing indicates that the Sure Signal is initialising and this can take up to 6 hours.

 

Please confirm if this is now up and running.

Hi DaveCD, Sorry to report that there is no change in the status - the internet silver symbol is flashing.

Any other ideas? Is there a phone number I could ring to get this sorted out?

Hi Philip_Harris,

It's showing that your Sure Signal contacted our servers at 2:17am this morning. 

If you're still not seeing any change, I'd recommend testing it on another internet connection for an hour or so. Doing this at a friend or relatives house will help narrow down an issue with your ISP or the unit itself. 

Let me know the outcome and we can pick it up form there. 

You can also dial 191 from any Vodafone handset (or 03333 040191 from another line). 
Live help is another option should you need more immediate support. :Smiling:
